This comprehensive 36-hour program\, offered by the Associated General Contractors of America\, is designed for construction professionals at all levels. It teaches the Lean Operating System\, focusing on continuous improvements for every aspect of a construction project   from planning to recycling.\n\n\n\nThe program includes five units\, covering everything from the introduction to Lean Construction to applying Lean thinking outside of field production. You'll learn about process efficiency\, variation mitigation\, the Last Planner System \, and much more. Plus\, participants have the opportunity apply to sit for the exam to the CM-Lean certificate\, signifying a deep understanding of Lean principles and practices.\n\n\n\nWhether you're a seasoned professional or new to the field\, this program will provide the knowledge and skills to transform your projects and company into a model of Lean efficiency.\n\n\n\nAfter completing the course\, students receive a Certificate of Completion and a digital badge to share.\n\n\n\nSchedule of Classes\n\nUnit 1 | Introduction to Lean Construction\n\nUnit 2 | Process and Production Basics\n\nUnit 3 | Project Production Systems\n\nUnit 4 | Lean Thinking in Field Production\, Last Planner  System\n\nUnit 5 | Lean Thinking Outside of Field Production\n\n\n\nLCEP Learning Objectives\n\n\n\nStudents participating in AGC's five-unit Lean Construction Education program will be eligible to take an exam to earn their CM-Lean.\n\n\n\nThe AGC Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-Lean) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to lean adoption\, practice\, and process transformation outlined in AGC's Lean Construction Education Program. Successful candidates will carry the CM-Lean designation.\n\n\n\nPath to CM-Lean\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days before the class kick-off. After such time\, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton@agc.org.\n\n\n\nTransfer Policy: All transfers must be to courses starting within 90 days of the original course start date. Send transfer requests to rockkie.dunton@agc.org.\n\n\n\nAGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days before the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.\n\n\n\nPlease read the FAQ for more details.
