DESCRIPTION:Join us as for our Conversations With program featuring the MIT Campus Construction group.\n\n\n\nChristos Maravelias - Director of Campus Construction \n\nPaul J Murphy III - Director Capital Renewal and Special Projects\n\nKaren E Rennell - Director CRSP Renovations\n\nTravis M Wanat - Director Capital Projects\n\n\n\nThe Campus Construction group manages and implements ground-up building projects on campus as well as major renewals and renovations of MIT's existing physical assets\, often collaborating with the Office of Campus Planning during the design and planning phases.\n\n\n\nThe Project Management team leads all campus construction and stewardship activities including large-scale construction projects from programming through occupancy as well as renovations and renewals ranging from whole building interventions to lab and office upgrades. A portfolio of large-scale construction work is detailed on the Capital Projects website. To maximize investment impact\, the team's robust Capital Renewal program prioritizes projects that advance MIT's mission by addressing infrastructure and programmatic needs together.\n\n\n\nCurrently there are 7 projects in construction at MIT including the Music Building\, East Campus Buildings\, Metropolitan Warehouse\, Graduate Junction\, Stratton Student Center\, and multiple projects in Kendall Square
