To get things started BOND Building Construction will present a comprehensive overview of the project, including the vision, construction progress, and key challenges and opportunities involved in delivering this high-profile facility.

Then enjoy the Boston Legacy professional women’s soccer match, where the region’s newest team takes the field in an exciting and historic moment for Boston sports. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the game, network with fellow members and industry partners, and experience the energy of this new franchise as it begins its legacy.


May 13 – White Stadium Construction Tour
The following morning, we’ll head to Franklin Park for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the new White Stadium, currently under construction and set to become a major venue for Boston Public Schools athletics and professional women’s soccer.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow AGC MA members, industry partners, and project leaders while getting an inside look at one of Boston’s most talked-about construction projects.

Project Description:
The White Stadium redevelopment represents a significant investment by the City of Boston and Boston Legacy Football Club to modernize one of Boston’s longstanding athletic venues. Originally constructed in 1949 and home to Boston Public Schools (BPS) Athletics, the stadium has served generations of student‑athletes and community programs. Fire damage to the East Grandstand and aging infrastructure across the facility prompted a comprehensive transformation to restore the stadium’s full functionality and enhance its long‑term community use.

The Development is a Public Private Partnership between the City of Boston and Boston Legacy Football Club, Boston’s new professional soccer franchise in National Women’s Soccer League and consists of two separate but integrated construction projects for the City of Boston on the East and Football Club on the West.  The projects include the full reconstruction of both the East and West Grandstands, each designed to accommodate approximately 5,000 spectators and supported by modern athlete, public, and premium amenities. The East Grandstand project will replace the existing structure with new seating, modernized locker rooms and restrooms, training and sports medicine facilities, administrative space for BPS Athletics, and updated concessions and community areas.

The West Grandstand will be constructed within the existing historic clamshell wall, preserving this defining architectural feature while delivering enhanced public amenities, expanded club and box seating, and supporting operational space.
The East scope of work also includes a new FIFA‑level natural grass playing surface and an MIAA‑certified track and field complex, which will serve both BPS athletics and Boston Legacy Football Club.  The West project includes adjacent components, including the South Crescent building, that will be delivered under a separate construction contract.

Both projects incorporate extensive hardscape and landscape improvements, updated lighting, and new site infrastructure intended to restore and upgrade the park areas surrounding the stadium.

Peter Roche, Project Executive
Peter Roche, LEED AP, is a Project Executive with more than 25 years of experience leading complex building projects across the life sciences, healthcare, higher education, civic, and residential markets. Since joining BOND Building three years ago, he has led work that holds both personal and community significance. His portfolio includes major efforts for Boston Children’s Hospital and his current role overseeing the transformative redevelopment of Boston’s White Stadium. Peter is known for his collaborative leadership, thoughtful planning, and ability to guide teams and stakeholders toward shared goals that deliver meaningful, community‑focused outcomes.


Jonathan Rossini, Senior Project Manager
Jonathan Rossini is a Senior Project Manager with 14 years of experience and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UMass Amherst. Over his 10 years at BOND Building, he has progressed from Project Engineer to Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager and now Senior Project Manager, delivering complex, phased projects in higher education and public‑sector markets. His work includes the Holy Cross Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex, the UMass Amherst McGuirk Alumni Stadium and Garber Field improvements, the Harvard Sackler Building renovation, the DCAMM DUA Brockton facility, the Wakefield Public Safety Building, and Quinsigamond Community College’s Surprenant Hall and Hebert Auditorium. Jon is currently leading the White Stadium East project.


Kathryn McDonald
Kathryn McDonald is a Project Manager with 10 years of experience and a B.S. in Engineering Design from James Madison University. Her background spans educational, healthcare, and life science projects, including the William E. Carter School, Life Time Fitness at the Prudential Center, and renovations at South Shore Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Kathryn joined BOND Building in 2024 and is currently part of the White Stadium West project team. She is also a proud season ticket holder of Boston Legacy.
 
Destiny Fausta, Project Engineer
Destiny Fausta is a Project Engineer at BOND Building, supporting complex educational and public projects through detailed coordination and field documentation. She holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Fitchburg State University and began her career through a co‑op at BOND, where she supported a demolition project at Quinsigamond Community College – the same campus where she began her collegiate journey. She was recently recognized as a Rising Star by the Professional Women in Construction Boston Chapter for her perseverance, curiosity, and commitment to advancing others in the AEC field. Destiny is a key member of the White Stadium East project team.
 
Aidan Beckman, Project Engineer
Aidan Beckman is a Project Engineer at BOND Building and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he earned his B.S. in Building and Construction Technology in 2025. His experience includes supporting the renovation of Wellesley Town Hall during a field operations internship and assisting on the renovation of the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo, Uruguay through an engineering internship. Aidan brings strengths in coordination, safety documentation, project logistics, and multidisciplinary teamwork, further enhanced by his leadership roles with the UMass Minuteman Marching Band. He is currently a Project Engineer on the White Stadium West project team.
