Description
AGC MA has launched a Safety Innovation Series program focused on sharing the progressive industry trends that are expanding the culture of safety. This session will bring together safety and HR professionals from across the industry to share practical insights, lessons learned, and scalable approaches to building effective wellness programs.
The program will feature a panel discussion moderated by Tim Irving, former OSHA Director, who will guide a conversation centered on both the “why” and the “how” of integrating wellness into construction operations. The discussion will highlight the growing importance of mental health and psychological safety in the workforce and provide actionable strategies for companies at all stages of program development.
Panelists will share real world experiences from their organizations, including:
-
Launching wellness initiatives using existing resources such as insurance programs and Employee Assistance Programs
-
Building executive buy in and workforce engagement
-
Leveraging unions, recovery councils, and peer based support systems
-
Scaling programs from early stage efforts to more mature, fully integrated models
-
Addressing challenges such as cost, participation, and cultural adoption across diverse project teams
