Description
This 60 minute round table session is designed to equip members with the legal insight and practical tools needed to protect their financial interests and respond decisively to a rapidly evolving trade landscape.
In light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision striking down a significant number of President Trump’s tariffs, this timely webinar will provide clear, practical guidance for construction industry leaders navigating the ruling’s impact.
This session will deliver a concise overview of the Court’s majority opinion and key dissenting views, as well as the Administration’s response to the decision. The program will examine the broader industry implications, particularly for companies affected by prior tariff payments.
Most importantly, attendees will receive actionable direction on determining eligibility for tariff refunds, calculating potential recovery amounts, and pursuing claims efficiently and in compliance with federal requirements.
Outcomes:
- A summary of the Supreme Court’s ruling and the dissenting opinions;
- President Trump’s reaction to the ruling;
- The industry ramifications of the ruling;
- How to determine if your company is entitled to a refund; and,
- How to calculate and claim your refund.
