Building Advancement Externiship
As part of its continuing Workforce Development efforts, AGC MA hosted the second annual Building Advancement Externship (BAE) program. Through August 15th – 19th AGC welcomed 15 participants comprised of educators, school counselors, and academic leaders for a week long immersive introduction to the commercial construction industry. Mayor Wu Invites AGC MA, Contractors, and Unions to Discuss Industry Safety
On August 18th, Mayor Wu and key individuals from her administration invited AGC MA, large general contractors, and the Boston Building Trades Unions to discuss the recent spate of construction safety incidents in the city. AGC MA held its annual Safety Breakfast Awards program on Friday, June 17th, 2022 to honor 32 AGC member firms for their outstanding commitment to safety in 2021 in the commercial construction industry. AGC MA Promotes Frisbie to VP of Member Services
The Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC MA) is proud to announce the recent promotion of Lisa Frisbie to act as the association’s first Vice-President of Member Services. In this capacity, Ms. Frisbie will take on new responsibilities including coordination of communications, programming, and member recruitment strategies. 2022 Annual Meeting & Social
AGC MA held it’s 2022 Annual Membership Meeting and Social on May 19th at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA. AGC MA Hires Marion Jones, MPA, Director of Workforce Development & Industry Inclusion
AGC MA is pleased to welcome Marion Jones, MPA in the newly created position of Director of Workforce Development & Industry Inclusion. In this role Marion will be responsible for promoting vocational and educational pathways for students into the commercial construction industry. She will be responsible for creating bridges between AGC MA members, the education community, and underrepresented populations and promote diversity and inclusion in the industry by utilizing the voices of the community to develop
